This is a two hour creative arts workshop for young people imagining a greener future together in Wimborne’s Forest Garden (next to the Wimborne Community Centre, King Street).
The workshop is guided by Tony Horitz, State of Play - drama teacher, writer and community theatre director with 40 years experience in the field of outdoor and indoor drama and creative arts. It is for young people aged between 11-18 years interested in or concerned about, the environment.
Join the friends for a walk around the woods. They are local residents that maintain the woodland for the benefit of the wildlife and local people. Hear about the projects they run and maybe consider joining them.
Please arrive at 10.15am for a 10.30am start for the tour. The tour should last between about one and one and a half hours. Please wear appropriate clothes and foot wear for this outdoor tour, which will require a reasonable level of mobility.

The Wimborne Cup was successfully launched at this year's Folk Festival. The iconic design certainly caught the eye, with many people buying the cup as a memento of the Festival. 11 pubs and one brewery took part and sold most of the 8,500 cups ordered. The good news is that. anecdotally, there was much less plastic litter in the streets.
