Swift Awareness week – events are run by independent local groups which make up the Swifts Local Network,
Wimborne in Bloom Gardens Open. 4 and 6 Victoria Place offer view of Wildlife Friendly gardens. Start at any garden, there is no set order. Entry cost is £8.00 per person (children free), pay at the first garden you visit, cash payment only. All monies raised go towards the floral displays around the town.

Recycle Week is a Celebration of Recycling Across the Nation..
We are continuing last year’s campaign theme, ‘Rescue Me! Recycle’, giving it a revamp and adding new items. By giving commonly binned items a personality, Recycle Week is a time to focus on helping people realise that more of the things they’ve been wasting can be recycled after all. It’s easy to rescue things like foil and trigger sprays from the rubbish and recycle them instead.
International E-waste day - focusing on the unused electronics that people store in their homes without realising these items contain valuable materials that could gain a new life.
UK Fungus day. An annual celebration of our fungal world
