‘Greenspace is the Place’ – a celebration of greenspace in our local town of Wimborne Minster. This is a collaborative project with Planet Wimborne, and will involve pop-up art activities in different greenspaces around the town in the coming weeks. We’ll also be launching a Greenspace Trail very soon! We’re delighted to be working with Karen Wimhurst, who has written a new musical composition celebrating our local rivers. This will be premiered at the Wimborne Green Festival in October. There will be a series of vocal workshops leading up to this concert, in which anyone can take part – details to follow. All of these activities are a contribution to Wimborne Town of Culture 2026, who have kindly supported the project through a microcomission.
