Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK-wide campaign to celebrate and recognise the contributions of volunteers that enrich our local communities.
The 2026 celebration will run from Monday 1st – Sunday 7th June.
The Volunteer Centre Dorset would love to hear from you if you have a thank you message for your volunteers, any stories you’d like to share, and any photos. They will be hosting a page on their website to share these, and will be sharing across our social media too.
Additionally this year, they are looking for groups to nominate their volunteers for a special thank you. They will be out and about in the community during Volunteers’ Week, and will be visiting three groups who are nominated with a special treat.
