Dear Supporter of the DIY-Library, latterly DIY Depot of Tools…
We at The DIY Depot of Tools, was DIY-Library, wish to thank all borrowers for their support over the past few years. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, primarily ill health and lack of suitable premises, the DIY Depot of Tools has permanently closed.
To help us with the closure we are attempting to sell the tools and donating 50% of the proceeds to *High Mead Therapy Farm and 50% to the “Friends of Uddens”. The “Online listing/sale” is now live until – 14/10/26. All tools are “Sold as Seen” with “Cash on collection”.
As we do not have the ability to run a “technology based” online auction and with some 70+ items (impractical to use something like “Market Place”), we have setup an inventory, with prices and condition rating and an enquiry email link.
Items listed will be marked as “Available”, “Sold Subject to Collection” (SSC) or “SOLD” when a transaction is complete.
Manually processing bids may be time consuming at this end, so please be patient. We will endeavour to email successful purchasers asap.
The confirmation email will show details of the item(s) of interest and a request to arrange collection from Canford Bottom, BH21 2HA, any day/evening between 4-8pm prior to the closing date of the 14/10. We do ask for £5 cash for any delivery/drop-offs requested. If anyone comes to collect the item and decides not to buy, then the item will be relisted as “Available”.
As PAT testing is not transferable, items are sold as seen without a PAT test certification, however, we can arrange individual PAT Tests at £15 call-out and £5 per item, if requested.
Any tools “unsold” will be donated to other parties of our choice or recycled where possible/practical.
