Have you ever wondered where all your, and the rest of Dorset’s, food waste goes, and what happens to it? And what about road-sweepings, wood and soil waste?
Now’s your chance to discover how Bournemouth-based company Eco Sustainable Solutions is finding innovative and ever more sustainable solutions to recycling and reusing waste products – and making a successful business of it.
Peter Hardy, EcoSustainable Solutions Sales Director will show you how this is done at a visit to their site in Hurn.
The visit will be a walk around the site in a small group. You will need to be wearing walking boots (or similar). They will provide high-visibility vests and hard hats.
It is a large, operational site with significant vehicle movements, heavy machinery and uneven ground so, for safety reasons, all visitors need to be comfortable walking around an active industrial environment and able to follow site instructions at all times.
The tour will take approximately one hour.
Please note numbers are very limited so please order your free tickets at: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/planetwimborne or pick up tickets at the Fair Ground shop in the Corn Market. If you find you are unable to attend please do let us know as soon as possible by emailing planetwimborne@gmail.com
