This year’s Dorset COP will be held in Kingston Maurward House just east of Dorchester on Sat 14th Nov. The event will take place from 9.00-17.00 and is organised in collaboration with Coastland College occurring at the end of their environmental week with Dorset Council and Dorset Local Nature Partnership also included in the core organising group. We are also planning a youth COP on Friday 13th Nov.
The Dorset COP is an annual networking event which is now in its 4th year and is designed for local people and organisations to have their say and inspire action on environmental and climate issues. The theme of this year’s event is “How to make an impact for climate and nature” and we intend to make the whole event based around the theme of giving people the tools, knowledge and support they need to be more effective in restoring nature and reducing their carbon emissions.
