In this compelling and dreamlike production, discover Kingston Lacy with the people who once called it home. An unforgettable experience inspired by Wimborne’s past and present.
With a cast of adults and young people, ‘Belonging’ celebrates 35 years of Wimborne Community Theatre creating locally made site-specific theatre, inspired by the environment of East Dorset and the lives of people, past and present.
The performance starts at 7pm, but we invite you to explore our interactive fair from 6.30pm, the gates open at 6.15pm.
Tickets from Eventbrite. Carers/companions accompanying a paying adult, and children under 3, are free.
Created as part of Wimborne Town of Culture 2026, WCT latest production, ‘Belonging’ asks, Is home a place or a feeling? as the audience are led through the Kingston Lacy landscape by historical and fictional characters, each with a special connection to the place they’ve all once called home.
Belonging is directed by Rohan Gotobed, with musical director, Karen Wimhurst, and supported by the National Trust, with a cast of people of all ages, including choir and musicians.
