'When Less is More' with Patrick Grant

We are excited to announce that Patrick Grant, from the BBC series ‘The Great British Sewing Bee' will be speaking at Queen Elizabeth’s School on Saturday 18th October at 5pm (doors open at 4.15pm). Patrick is a regular on TV and radio, and has been a key figure on The Great British Sewing Bee since its first series in 2013.

Patrick has recently published his book ‘Less: Stop Buying So Much Rubbish: How Having Fewer, Better Things Can Make Us Happier’. In this passionate and revealing book about loving clothes but despairing of a broken global system Patrick Grant considers the crisis of consumption and quality in fashion, and how we might make ourselves happier by rediscovering the joy of living with fewer, better-quality things.

Copies of his book will be on sale before his talk. Refreshments will be available and there will be eco stalls to browse.

Tickets for this event (£12 for adults and £2 for 18 years old and younger) are available from Planet Wimborne at https://buytickets.at/planetwimborne/1815806.
