Planet Wimborne has five trustees: Jeff Hart, Adrian Newton, Neil Smith (Treasurer), Judy Windwood and Linda Bunting (Chair). There is a steering group of a further 13 members that work together to deliver the Planet Wimborne projects and events. There are several sub groups that focus on Administration, Public Relations, and IT.
