——————–

Come along to Planet Wimborne’s annual Green Festival to meet local groups and hear about all the great environmental activities going on in the town and surrounding area.

The Festival is going from strength to strength and we believe we have something for everyone: from the Minster Fair on the first Saturday to craft workshops, walks and talks spread throughout the week. (Some of the events are ticketed, even though many are free – see links further down this page for tickets.)

The Green Festival will be opened at 10:30am on Saturday 11th October (on Minster Green) by Paralympic silver-medal-winning canoeist Jack Eyers, with Wimborne’s Deputy Mayor, Cllr Simon Wheeler; Town Crier, Chris Brown; and Planet Wimborne Chairperson, Linda Bunting.

We are excited to announce that Patrick Grant, from the BBC series ‘The Great British Sewing Bee will be speaking at Queen Elizabeth’s School on Saturday 18th October.
